About Us

The Sloan Energy Club (SEC) is a student-run organization at MIT Sloan School of Management, bringing together students, faculty and other community members with a shared interest in the energy sector, the energy transition and climate & sustainability topics.

SEC seeks to build a collaborative space at MIT Sloan, with the primary goals of:
 - Creating opportunities to learn more about the energy sector, broadly defined
 - Helping students successfully recruit for roles in the fields of energy, climate & sustainability
 - Building an inclusive, fun and rewarding energy community at MIT Sloan

Our programming includes social events, educational seminars and discussions, student and alumni panels, company presentations and 'treks' to visit companies around the country.

Please reach out to club leaders with any questions at energy.officers@sloangroups.mit.edu
